Avanade has pursued a deliberate and purpose-driven strategy around inclusion & diversity (I&D) since our founding in 2000. In the last two decades, our I&D strategy has grown broader and deeper, taking on an intersectional lens. If our inclusive culture doesn’t consider all races, gender identities, ethnicities, sexual orientations, disabilities, ages, religions – all people and all phases of life – it falls short.

Our aim is to normalise the conversation about disability and neurodiversity in the workplace, and to equip us all with the knowledge to become more #DisabilityConfident.

Employee Networks and Support Groups

At Avanade we have several Employee Networks (ENs) and support groups to help us foster an inclusive workplace environment. These communities welcome everyone at Avanade as members and offer leadership development opportunities to those interested in playing an active contributor role as part of their committees.

DiversAbility is our Disability Inclusion Employee Network and we have chapters in all our Areas (Europe, North America and Growth Markets). This network connects and supports colleagues with disabilities and long-term health conditions as well as caregivers. It also welcomes allies who play a key advocacy role.

We also have support groups for Cancer, Long Covid, Neurodiversity and Menopause.
