Working for us

Working in healthcare is more than just a job, it’s a passion. And every member of our trust is committed to providing the very best care possible in order to transform the lives of our patients. Whether you’re joining us as a healthcare professional or as part of one of our support services, your role is vital to the success of our services.

What we can offer you

We’re not just passionate about care; we’re also passionate about our staff. We’ll work with you to identify your short and long-term career goals, and then provide you with the training and education opportunities you need to fulfil your potential.

On top of job satisfaction, you’ll also get access to a whole range of benefits including exclusive high street discounts, the NHS pension scheme and our salary sacrifice schemes.

We’re also here to support you when things aren’t going so well. If you’re struggling at work or with a personal issue, you can confidentially access our independent information and counselling service or request a referral through Occupational Health.

Our Purple network

We recently launched our Purple network to support staff who have experience with a disability or long-term health condition, champions and carers. More information to follow.

Our networks are also responsible for creating action plans to combat bullying and discrimination from staff and patients to make sure that everyone has a friendly work environment.

How we rate

Our commitment to quality is reflected in everything we do. And as a result, we were recently awarded a ‘good’ rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC, our independent regulator) with ‘outstanding’ for the well-led category.

This makes us the first combined mental health and community trust in the south of England to be rated so high.
