OMG is an inclusive community of over 1600 employees made up of four fully integrated agencies (OMD, Manning Gottlieb OMD, PHD, Hearts & Science), each with their own unique identity and positioning. As the second largest media group in the market, our core strength is our people within the OMG network – working in partnership to deliver the highest level of service and innovation for our clients.

Working in media

Simply put, a media agency takes a client’s messaging for their brand and looks at how best to strategically communicate it to the consumer, taking into account people’s habits and behaviours (when and what they watch, read, listen to, how they buy products etc.). A media agency will typically have many departments that cover each specialist area within this process, all working together to deliver commercially successful, outstanding campaigns for the client.

In 2020, we relocated all our agencies into our Bankside headquarters in London. This has opened up new levels of collaboration across the agencies, whilst retaining their independent brilliance and entrepreneurial spirit.  For our people, this has also provided great opportunities for career progression across the agencies, allowing them to thrive in different environments.

As part of this commitment to creating a truly inclusive environment, we have nine advisory groups at OMG covering Ethnicity, Gender, Age, Disability, LGBTQ+, Working Parents & Carers, Sustainability, Mental Health and Social Mobility. Made up of colleagues from across the agencies and services within OMG, each group helps support our D&I strategy, providing resources for education and personal growth, ensuring we understand the different requirements of our colleagues and continue to strengthen the sense of belonging within OMG.

Disability Advisory Group

The core focus for the Disability group is to be more inclusive of all disabilities, for OMG’s current employees and prospective employees: We are creating a group-wide culture of acceptability and confidence in disclosure, provision of continuous education to all teams and hiring managers to understand and support an agency wide culture of inclusivity,  development of sympathetic and flexible working conditions and practices in both the workplace and the home space, as well as ensuring that the work that is produced collectively across OMG is representative of people with disabilities.  We are certified Disability Confident Level 1 and are working towards Level 2 accreditation.
