This is a fantastic opportunity for an internal candidate to have a secondment opportunity into the Account Services - Operations Group Head position for up to 12 Months to cover maternity.

Account Services - Operations Team....

The AS Ops team is a client service team whose objective is to maximise throughput and client usage of the TAPL platform while focusing on maintenance and growth of TAPL profitability. The AS Ops team achieves these objectives through a combination of both internal and external responsibilities, where the proportion of each will vary depending on the client. They are responsible for end to end campaign planning, launch, delivery, and reporting – for some clients this is achieved more through client training/guidance and for others the focus is more on in-house execution. In all cases the team provides first level technical support to clients and will engage with TAPL’s Product team regarding platform improvements.

Key Responsibilities...

Reporting to the Controller of your respective Business Unit, the Group Head, AS Ops will have sole responsibility for the Operations function supporting the Business Unit. As the leader for the AS Ops team within the Business Unit, the Group Head sets the direction and specific goals for the team in order to achieve the overall objective of maximising throughput, usage, and profitability for managed service and self-service clients. The Group Head executes primarily through their team, but must have a strong understanding of the team’s responsibilities and an aptitude for the technical/analytical in order to do so successfully. 


The Group Head will be responsible for overall team organisation and structure as well as people development, identifying new requirements and opportunities over time. They will engage with Account Services leadership to ensure functional coordination and to construct training and development programs. The Group Head will have excellent industry awareness and will partner with the Commercial Group Head and Business Unit Controller to develop group client strategy. The Group Head will engage with the clients’ senior leaders as it relates to both issue resolution and more strategic topics such as TAPL-client engagement.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and key skills:-

  • Extensive experience with a relevant combination of client support, strategy, and analytics roles within the digital advertising industry

  • Strong experience in team management and people development

  • Hands on experience of using adtech for digital advertising

  • Experience of selling or upselling features in a platform tech support environment

  • Good understanding of digital and televisual advertising

  • Technical and analytical aptitude

  • Balanced operational and commercial mindset

  • Strong presentation and communication skills
