Facebook is seeking an Accounting Manager, International Statutory Operations to join its finance team. This full-time position is located in Dublin, Ireland reporting to the International Statutory Operations Manager. You must be a driven, high energy, customer service focused individual that can work well with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, a critical thinker who can drive projects and make an impact. In this position you will work closely with a variety of cross-functional teams including corporate tax, legal, technical accounting, statutory reporting & enterprise engineering and the rest of the controllership teams. You will be expected to have a strong business acumen coupled with strong communication skills to effectively facilitate information flow across multiple teams & senior stakeholders. Occasional travel may be required.

Required Skills

  • Take end to end ownership of process improvement activities for a large scale International Finance team
  • Carry out detailed analysis of existing systems and processes, before scoping and delivering projects that will address identified challenges
  • Identify and deliver ways to enhance and automate existing operations
  • Coordinate activities and planning for the international statutory audits as part of the Compliance Center of Excellence, working closely with cross functional teams and external partners.
  • Create strong business partnerships and manage service levels with senior internal stakeholders and external third party service providers.
  • Assist in the design and build of a compliance project management tool and global reporting solution for International Compliance.
  • Assist in the roll out of an International statutory controls framework
  • Driving impactful projects

Minimum Qualification

  • Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA,ACCA)
  • Relevant industry PQE with large, fast-growing, multi-national company
  • Previous experience undertaking process improvement tasks or projects
  • Excellent, project management and process improvement skills
  • Very organised and thorough with desire for continuous improvement
  • Strong foundation in Financial Accounting, compliance with experience of initiating and driving projects to completion
  • Proven ability to multitask, with ability to design plans and deliver against them
  • Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel (experience with Oracle ERP or similar package is desirable).
