We haveFull Timeplacement opportunities available for anAccounts Receivable Administrator available at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust specifically providing the following:
  • Deputise for the Accounts Receivable Manager over his/her duties and responsibilities.
  • Comply with the Trust's Standing Orders, Standing Financial Instructions and Financial Protocols.
  • Assist with the Day to day maintenance of the computerised Debtors system (Efinancials).
  • The prompt and accurate preparation, production and rendering of Debtor invoices and credit note
  • Setting up new customers on efinancials
  • Assist with the follow-up processes for the reduction of outstanding Trust debts via credit control action on overdue Debtor invoices including:
  • Assisting with the production and distribution of computer produced reminder letters and statements to debtors.
  • Assisting with the follow-up action on unpaid debtor invoices in accordance with Trust credit control procedures.
  • Assist and liaise with the Salaries and Wages section regarding debts to be deducted through the payroll.
  • Processing Direct Debit payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • To undertake any other duties, which may be required from time to time, as appropriate to the role.
The Accounts Receivable Clerk shall assist the Accounts Receivable Manager with the Accounts Receivable function at Amersham in order to provide an effective, high quality and customer focussed income collection service ensuring that any income accruing to Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust is received.

NHS experience would be helpful but is not essential. You will be a really strong team player, able to work effectively with colleagues across our ICT function and wider organisation.

The role is full time with the hours being 8am - 6pm 7.5hours flexible i.e. early start or late finish.
