The Accounts Receivable Coordinator supports the accounting team through independently completed tasks concerning financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate billing and receipts of accounts. This includes preparing invoices, monitoring payments and expenditures and preparing labor/equipment rates. The Accounts Receivable Coordinator must comply with established policies and procedures.

What You'll Do:
  • Create equipment and labor rates for Estimating Department, rates for Subcontractor's and change orders
  • Audit subcontractor's for labor, equipment and material
  • Prepare EWO packages
  • Collectively work with the field to review contractor rates
  • Review contract agreement's, rates, taxes, insurance cost and hours billed
  • Generate templates for invoices per contract specs
  • Respond to client, departmental, audit inquiries and escalated issues including the exercise of sound discretion
  • May provide short-term backfill support for project teams
  • Assist Accounts Receivable Manager with annual performance reviews and goal setting/tracking with AR staff
  • Other duties as assigned
We're Looking For:
  • Knowledge of computer systems (eCMS and/or JD Edwards preferred), including Microsoft Office products
  • Must have strong work ethic and professional attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, courses in accounting preferred
  • 2 to 4 years of accounting administration experience with at least one year in A/R preferred
