Kathleen Chambers House is a care home for 39 service users, offering full care and support to older people with sight loss and additional disabilities.

As an Activities Organiser you will provide a variety of activities to meet the needs and requirements of our blind / partially sighted service user group. Undertaking craft work, baking, knitting, collages, hand and nail care, quizzes, word games, reading the daily newspaper, assisting service users on trips and outings or even a walk around our lovely garden the possibilities are endless, this job offers a lot of variety.

You'll be positive and self-motivated, and have knowledge of the social care needs of older people.

Experience of organising successful activities and events is desirable, but not essential.

Car driver is essential and training for the homes minibus will be provided through MIDAS training.
