Radiotherapy Administration Officer

Band 4: £22,986 - £25,364 per annum, incl HCAS

Full Time/Permanent

Location: Guildford and Redhill, Surrey

Applicants are invited to apply for the role of Radiotherapy Administration Officer. The post holder will undertake administrative and reception duties within our busy multi-site, and will provide key support to patients attending radiotherapy. They will ensure the complex pathways are correctly managed, and that all relevant patient data is collected and collated, according to the department's needs. The post holder will require excellent communication and organisational skills. They will be expected to liaise directly with patients and carer's as well as a number of different professions, both within and external to the trust.

The successful candidate will need to be willing to learn and accept challenges and change, able to work in a team and be flexible with regard to cross cover and working hours. You will contribute to maintaining our high standards of patient care, communication, privacy and a safe environment in compliance with the Trust policies and procedures.

Previous administrative experience would be an advantage but is not essential as comprehensive Trust and local induction/training is available.

The Post holder will be rota'd to work mainly at Royal Surrey County Hospital but may be asked to travel between there and our East Surrey Hospital site.
