15 Hours per week (The service operates 7 days a week. The successful candidate will be required to cover hours between 0700 - 2300)

City Health Care Partnership CIC is an innovative, award winning organisation, at the forefront of change and keen to recruit the very best people to develop its services. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic receptionist/administrative assistant to work with us.

The Wolds View Primary Care Centre is an integrated service providing both a GP practice and an Urgent Treatment Centre and is conveniently located within Bridlington Hospital. The Centre can see and treat anyone living or visiting Bridlington and is run by highly trained and experienced doctors and nurse practitioners.

We provide services for a diverse population and it is therefore essential that you are able to communicate sensitively and effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds and with those whose first language may not be English.

Duties will include performing reception duties, collecting and recording information on patients' injury and illness, booking appointments, inviting patients to clinics, recording patient information, dealing with patient enquiries, requests for prescriptions and liaising with clinical staff to ensure the safe and effective management of patients. Administration tasks will include filing, record keeping, data inputting and document management.

You should ideally have an understanding of the General Practice/Urgent Care environment or have previous experience within a healthcare environment. A good standard of general education, GCSE or equivalent maths and English Language are essential, together with IT skills and the ability to work under pressure.

The postholder will need to be flexible in their approach to working as the services run Mon-Sun between the hours of 0700-2300.
