Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join the Senior Nurses within the Unscheduled Care Management Team at Glangwili General Hospital.

The role requires the successful candidate to provide support to the Senior Nurse Management Team as required, demonstrating a high level of adaptability and flexibility.

The successful post holder will need to be able to travel to all sites within the Health Board if required. Complex diary management is a part of the role which will include being able to prioritise at very short notice due to constantly changing circumstances.

We require someone who is enthusiastic and motivated and able to work to a very high standard of accuracy. An exceptional eye for detail and excellent organisational skills are also essential for this role and the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate initiative in planning their own workload in a way that supports the work of the team.

Excellent communication skills are also essential to enable you to respond professionally; you will be required to develop effective relationships with a wide range of staff and key stakeholders.

An essential element of the role is the preparation of draft agendas, minute taking and general secretarial duties. We are therefore looking for candidates who have experience in these areas.
