Who we are

Working with government agencies and hospitals, our software provides the data and insight for better healthcare decisions. We help deliver health screening programmes across the UK and Ireland, support the world's biggest orthopaedic registry and digitise millions of patient records each year.

About the role

As our administrator, you`ll be the first point of contact for our patients, helping them to book and rearrange their diabetic eye screening appointments. You`ll set up our clinics and then send out appointment and results letters to our patients in time for them to attend their appointment.

We`re looking for you to really drive engagement with our patients, offering them a caring and empathetic service, whilst always looking at and thinking about new ways for us to reach out and communicate with them. Guided by your team leader you`ll be a valuable member of our team all of whom are driven and enthusiastic when it comes to making sure our patients attend their appointments and receive brilliant follow up care and we`d want you to have that same passion.

Working with our failsafe officers and screeners and screener graders no day will be the same, so be ready for an interesting and varied new job!

This role is based at Worcester but may require travel to other sites.

Please note this role requires staff to take a high volume of telephone calls.

Shifts are 8-4 and 10-6 Mon - Fri alternating weekly and approx 4 Saturday's per year 08.30-14.30.

Our team

You`ll be part of a broad integrated team consisting of a programme manager, team leader, clinical leads, optometrists, failsafe officers and screener/graders who`ll provide you with the training you need to be successful in your role.

  • experience of working in an office environment
  • experience of working in a call centre or handling high volumes of calls would be adventageous
  • ability to work to deadlines and sometimes under pressure
  • understanding of MS Office, would be welcomed
  • strong eye for detail
  • educated to GCSE level, or equivalent
  • willingness to learn
  • brilliant customer service skills
  • exceptional organisational skills
  • empathetic and engaging
  • excellent and proven interpersonal, verbal and writing communication skills
