  • 4 days per week part time
Once you've joined the firm you will have access to training, giving you the opportunity to upskill yourself on our various systems. You'll also benefit from additional support designed to help you integrate into the firm and connect and build relationships with other flexible workers across our network.

Our Information Technology Generalist - Practice Support team focuses on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing internal applications, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for PwC to drive strategic business growth.

An Agile Delivery Manager is accountable for the performance of the team.
  • Build and maintain teams, ensuring they are motivated, collaborating and working well
  • Identify obstacles and help the team to overcome them
  • Focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services
  • Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement of the delivery team
  • Coach and mentor both team members and others to apply the most appropriate agileand lean tools and techniques
  • The complexity or breadth of products or teams will vary in this role, depending on thecontext.

What skills you need
  • You know about and can lead on a range of Agile andLean tools and techniques, with an ability to coachwithin and outside of your team. You can represent and be an advocate for these tools and techniques.You are innovative and ensure that you are up-to-datewith the latest trends. You can establish a feedback loop for teams; you can take responsibility for thetranslation and measurement of value (what you putin and what you will get out) and how this relates toUK IT, Line of Service (LoS) and Firmwide goals andthe user needs. You can ensure the team has asituational awareness of work and priorities acrossthe team. You can ensure that working practices areiterated to achieve effective delivery.
  • Drivesteams and sets the pace, ensuring teams are workingtowards delivery commitments. Able to engage in elements of risk management such as effectivelymanaging and tracking the mitigation of risks. Able tomanage various dependencies across teams as a whole.
  • Able to challenge andimprove disproportionate organisational processeswhere it impacts the pace of the team.
  • Able to identify what works best for the team and when to utilisecertain processes. Understands that all steps in aprocess must add value. Able to influence and make positive changes to the organisation. Able toencourage continuous improvement in team ways ofworking.
  • Able to take a continuous approach to planning,forecasting, estimating, managing uncertainty, metricsand measurements, contingency planning and roadmapping. Able to communicate the plan, planningassumptions and progress to a range of stakeholders.Maintains the cadence of delivery and manages the relationships between different people within andacross teams.
  • Able to build successful delivery teams andunderstand team styles and how people worktogether. Able to maintain, influence and motivate ateam. Understands the importance of psychologicalsafety, being able to give and receive feedback, andfacilitating the feedback loop. Ensures the health ofthe team and can facilitate conflict resolution,accelerating team performance. Able to ensure theteam is transparent and that the work is understoodexternally. Able to create an open and collaborativeenvironment (both physically and virtually) to work in,be flexible, adaptable and have a willingness to learn.
