Job Summary

A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You'll focus on managing the design and implementation of integration between applications developed within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth. Our Information Technology Development team helps develop and supports internal information technology systems and applications for use by all staff levels. You'll help our team to integrate technologies that cater to PwC's strategic technology needs using your knowledge of technical domains of application.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of applications, while reporting to Directors and above
  • Be involved in the financial management of integration solutions
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing applications
  • Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients
  • Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks
  • throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team
  • Shape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria
  • Train, coach, and supervise team members
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and developing your PwC brand

Preferred Knowledge/Skills

  • Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in application development and strategic business technology projects including the following areas:
    • Microsoft-based technologies including ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server,etc.; and
    • Cloud-based technologies including Azure App Services, Azure Functions Apps, Azure Application Gateways.
  • Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:
    • Developing industry leading practices that will be used by the development teams across all IT projects;
    • Leading a group of development resources including Business Analysts and be responsible for their technical domain development;
    • Addressing conflicting requests for resources by the various business organizations;
    • Supporting the management of project risk across multiple business organizations by meeting the competing demands of various mission critical projects;
    • Interacting with other development leads, internal business group leaders, development team and offshore resources
    • Patterns including Document Based Storage, CQRS, Event Sourcing, Event Driven Architecture, Pub/Sub, etc.
    • Roadmap forecasting and strategic directions of projects and prioritization.
