The Applications and Service Delivery Analyst is responsible for all aspects of the SOA Platform and other products and applications in Content Supply and Distribution that ensure high levels of user satisfaction and system availability for ITV business purposes.

Some Key Responsibilities:
  • Owns and manages the applications, interfaces and technical services for the SOA Platform and other products and applications in Content Supply and Distribution, throughout their life-cycle.
  • Primary point of contact and escalation point for the SIAM Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and the Accenture SOA Platform Application Services support second line team, 3rd line support teams (e.g. Oracle), Service Owners and for user groups that have a dependency on the SOA Platform.
  • Manages all communications with the SIAM SDM, SOA Application Services team, and user groups/stakeholders.
  • Manage and contribute to the adoption of new processes and tooling (e.g. diagnostic methodology, health checks, scripting tools, etc) so that a continuous improvement culture is supported.
  • Triage and Troubleshoot incidents and requests, escalating to the Accenture Application Services team / relevant product teams for further investigation - ensuring full resolution where possible.
  • Responsible for implementing technical changes to the SOA Platform in line with SOA Migration work, service improvements and incident resolution, to meet business requirements, mitigate risk and to deliver continuous improvement to the platform and service.
  • Attends and represents relevant applications at Monthly Service Reviews on behalf of the user groups.
  • Participate in and enable proactive knowledge sharing activities across the Application Services team.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

  • 2 years of experience in a Service Delivery and/or Applications Management role or team.
  • 2 years of experience in a technical role that demonstrates the ability to learn and understand technical detail
  • The ability to communicate effectively with technical roles to facilitate effective Service delivery.
  • Experience of BPEL, Oracle Fusion - BPEL, SOAP Services, Messaging, Groovy Scripts, SOLR desirable
  • Experience in operating systems (Linux, Solaris), networking and database administration preferred.
  • Exposure to other current and previous versions of Oracle Fusion platform is a strong plus.
  • Strong verbal, virtual and written communication skills - can communicate technical issues to a non technical audience
  • Knowledge of business (advertising / media / VOD / distribution) concepts desirable.
  • Detail orientated and results driven.
