Job Description

Audit Transformation (AT) continues to play an increasingly critical role in evolving how we deliver our external audit services, in response to both internal and external opportunities and challenges, in order to:
  • Continue to enhance the quality of the work we do;
  • Lower the cost of delivery; and
  • Evolve the working experience of our partners and staff.

To help drive transformation efforts, and better support our business through this transformation, AT is seeking Associates and Senior Associates to support digitisation (what we do and how we do it) of the following transformation priority areas:

Methodology: Simplify the execution of our methodology, and how we implement methodology changes

Audit delivery model: Review how we deliver our audits, aligned to quality, commercial and people objectives

Breaking the Audit Cycle: Continuing to evolve and improve how we plan, structure and deliver our audits

Digital: Accelerate the digitisation of what we do, and how we do it.

Within the AT digital transformation team you will:
  • Lead and/or work as part of a team on various individual digital projects, ranging from dashboard builds to process automation;
  • Use / build your analytical and digitisation skills, and intellectual curiosity to:
    • Identify digitisation opportunities;
    • Support the translation of identified business problems / needs into business requirements; and
    • Develop and build solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Respond in an agile way to new and changing priorities, thriving in an environment where no day looks or feels the same
  • Build unparalleled networks (including with Digital Audit, internal IT teams, as well as the broader Audit business, including the DDM), and utilise these networks effectively to support transformation efforts
  • Utilise and enhance your problem solving capabilities, to identify and solve business problems

Successful candidates will have / be:
  • Dynamic and agile, able to respond to shifting priorities;
  • The ability to prioritise their work and time;
  • Experience in using, or a strong desire / aptitude to learn, digital development tools such as:
    • Alteryx
    • Power BI / Tableau
    • Google Apps Script
    • VBA
  • Good analytical skills, to support problem solving;
  • The ability to think differently and creatively, and innovate with new solutions;
  • Excellent organisational / project management skills;
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to operate both independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong attention to detail.

This role offers the potential for flexible working. It is expected, at most, only very minimal travel will be required with the vast majority of interactions being virtual in nature.
