The Role

Back Office Analyst - Band 5

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Back office Analysts to join our Cerner Back office team.

Key responsibilities will include;
  • Day to day administration/management of Trust Patient Administration System (PAS) / Electronic Patient Record (EPR).
  • Provide application guidance & support and issue/problem resolution
  • Management of relationships with 3rd parties
  • Management of 'support' and 'back office' functions of the system
  • Maintain systems reference data
  • Correct data that users have entered that they can no longer updated, or escalate accordingly.
  • Creation and maintenance of application support documentation
  • Educate users on how best to utilise the system
  • Development & Enhancement of the CW Systems
The post holder will assist with the development of methodologies in the delivery of a comprehensive approach to continued improvement of the Cerner (EPR) application, and its use within the Trust. These approaches will be developed in line with Trust performance framework.

Excellent communication skill is essential for this role, as the post holder will be working as part of large team to support staff to diagnose areas of repeated errors and engage with key stakeholders, and Training team to update corrections accordingly.

The post holder will be expected to have knowledge of acute hospital care and data flow. Experience in the Cerner EPR is of significant advantage but not essential.
