Band 4 Personal Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our forward thinking Imaging Department as a Personal Assistant. This key role will provide high quality, comprehensive administrative support to the General Manager, Clinical Director and Business & Performance Manager as well as assist the Clinical Service Managers and general consultant pool as required.

The post will be challenging and varied and includes extensive diary management, co-ordination of meetings, drafting of agendas, minute taking, document management, preparation of presentation materials and handling queries from patients, colleagues and external organisations. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for maintaining and updating the department's training and appraisal database, raising purchase orders, stock management and general office maintenance.

As part of the PA team, the post holder will be responsible for day to day tasks as assigned by the PA team leader Personal Assistants, managing day to day office issues and will be expected to work closely with the senior management team, providing support in the operational and strategic development of the department.

The successful candidate should have previously held a Personal Assistant ,position have excellent organisational skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, strong initiative and the ability to effectively prioritise their workload. Previous NHS experience is preferable along with a customer oriented approach, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
