This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral part in the transformation of planned care services within Somerset.

NHS Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (Somerset CCG) is looking to recruit an Band 8a Planned Care Commissioning Manager to join the planned care and cancer team within the wider operations directorate.

The ideal candidate will have experience of commissioning, operational management or system transformation of planned care services and be passionate about the improvement of services within Somerset. This is one of two 8a Commissioning Manager posts within the team with each taking a portfolio lead for cancer or planned care services.

Somerset CCG and the system are increasingly working towards portfolio/system leads and the post holder may have the opportunity to lead on other pieces of work across the system where relevant.

This post is based at NHS Somerset CCG HQ - Wynford House, Lufton Way, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8HR. However, elements of the role may require you to travel to other locations across the county of Somerset to meet the needs of the service. Currently the role is carried out remotely from home,due to the ongoing COVID situation.

This is a permanent, full-timepost of 37.5 hours per week. Job share and secondments will be considered.
