We are recruiting for Ward Host to join our bank team. You will be working on a flexible basis, as and when required to help deliver vital services to patients and members of the public. As a member of the bank team you will be able to choose from a variety of shifts that work around you to create better work life balance.

As a member of our bank ward host you will be assisting with all associated duties connected with the delivery of staff and patient meal services. You will be required to adhere to departmental standards and food hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities will include ordering and serving lunch and dinner at the bed side, keeping high standards of personal hygiene; high standards of cleaning as each ward host maintains the cleanliness of their own kitchen; recognising special diet requirements and ensuring they are correctly delivered; developing good relations with patients, visitors and clinical teams; working alongside a complete catering team. You will also be responsible for maintaining high quality standards standards in food production and presentation.

We are looking for candidates with good availability during the during the day, Monday - Friday, also available to work some weekends. We currently do not require school holidays or weekend only cover. A typical ward host shift would be 10:00-18:30, but you may also be asked to cover some early shifts.
