Job Description

This role focuses on delivering market leading Biddable strategy, innovation and client servicing across Paid Social, Paid Search and Programmatic for a portfolio of clients. The role is slightly skewed towards Paid Search and Paid Social (45:45:10) and would suit someone with a strong Paid Search/Social media background and analytical mind-set, although deep knowledge of Programmatic is highly beneficial. The role also requires working on other brands on an ad-hoc basis. The role may involve working on other clients too, depending on workload. You'll be responsible for leading the operations across all accounts with a particular focus on client communications, activating, reporting and optimization.

Team/Department Profile

The role will report into the Biddable Associate Director. You will work closely with the planning and activation teams on the accounts. In this role you will also be expected to contribute with new ideas and new ways of working to the ongoing development of Performics Biddable Media proposition. You will be working in a team of 13, alongside another AD and supported by Managers, Senior Execs and Execs.

Core responsibilities of the role are:
  • Driving account performance and innovation across the brand: drive forward their Search & Social approach
  • Manage and lead the client relationship and creative agency relationship
  • Provide strong leadership and inspiration for the team and clients
  • Manage and lead the team, be responsible for the output of the team, ensuring all deliverables meet the expected high standard
  • Responsible for team appraisals
  • Liaise with 3rd party tools provider to get the best value and training for the team
  • Creating strategy and detailed plans from briefs provided both from clients and internal client servicing teams.
  • Contribute to Senior Management team initiatives with ideas and new processes when required
  • Working on new business projects when required.

Qualifications

This role is ideal for someone who has a proven record of leading on biddable accounts with a strong background on Paid Search/Social activation, who has worked with a variety of different clients, can sell in ideas and drive innovation across multiple channels. We are looking for someone with a great record in exceeding clients' expectations and delivering impeccable client servicing. The ideal candidate will have some experience at AD level ready to work on a complex and challenging accounts. A genuine passion for digital marketing and an analytical mindset are essential.

Pre-requisites for the role are:
  • Experience in planning, managing Biddable campaigns (Google, Bing, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Experience with tools, e.g. Marin, Kenshoo, DS3, Adobe, IgnitionOne, SocialMoov, Smartly, 4C
  • Experience in managing a team of people and conducting team appraisals
  • Experience in driving innovation in Biddable
  • Strong leadership, communication skills and ability to engage with planning teams and also brand leaders at the client side (large number of internal and external stakeholders)
  • Need to be confident and have worked on large accounts in an agency environment
  • Be solution driven and innovative with how they drive performance from their accounts
  • Be strategic and commercially minded in planning their goals for their teams as well as being able to shape and develop a brand search strategy
  • Strong attention to detail and high standard of deliverables
  • Good knowledge of all digital elements and have full understanding of digital
