Amazon Shipping is innovating in the Operations and Logistics space and looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and analytical Billing & Payments Specialist to help us scale our credit based invoicing payment solution internationally. The ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver, enthusiastic about tackling complex issues within the Billing space and confident in making the right decisions for both our customer and our business.

As part of the Shipper Experience team, the Billing & Payments specialist will play a vital role in mitigating our financial risk by both tactically managing our portfolio of Shippers with debt +31days as well as programmatically solving defects and building automated improvements and processes as we scale. The role will require stakeholder management, working between Finance, FinOps, Product and tech internationally. Their goals will be orientated around reducing Shipper controllable and Non-Shipper controllable defects to influence overall financial risk to the programme, working with partner teams to develop a sophisticated billing solution. In addition, as Shipper facing billing support is also a key element to the programme, they will be responsible for resolving shipper facing contact defects with relevant support teams.

Roles and Responsibilities
· Ability to quickly identify problems pro-actively and re actively to protect both any risks to payment as well as our Shipper Experience
· Spot trends and manage issues to resolution by working with multiple stakeholders (UK & US)
· Build processes for support teams to close the loop with the shippers to provide confidence and trust in our programme
· Measure performance, articulate root-cause analysis, and link to specific improvement areas
· Relay any gaps in Shipper Education or expectation setting back to the wider SX team for constant improvement
· Create program goals and related metrics, track progress and manage through obstacles to achieve your objectives
· Analyze current processes and evaluate opportunities for solutions to improve end user experiences, reduce costs, and accelerate organization performance
· Assess program risks, anticipate challenges, and provide escalation management when necessary
· Meet SLA and defect/debt reduction targets

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3-5 years experience in Finance, Billing or Account management
· BA/BS degree
· Desire to work in fast-paced, challenging environment
· Excellent communications skills and the ability to effectively advise senior leadership
· Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals
· Proven ability to influence others and lead customer engagements
· Strong ownership, bias for action
· Ability to Dive Deep and deal with large sets of data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Expert use of MS Office Suite, CRMs (e.g. Salesforce.com), sales and marketing automation tools, eLearning tools
· Experience developing delivery methodologies
