Job Purpose and Accountabilities

 

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is naturally curious and seeks out opportunities for big thinking, disrupting the status-quo and tackling the ever-changing landscape that consumer package goods operate in.

 

The Hair Category Director will be responsible for a portfolio of brands which cover a range of consumer needs, price points, encompassing both wash and care and styling. They will lead a team in driving brand equity and growth through the creation of purpose and experience led brands, leveraging data and precision marketing to deliver the BPC UK&I commercial plan.

 

Define and own brand strategy for full portfolio of UK&I Hair brands, ensuring relevance to consumers’ needs, as well as the business and local market context (inc. JBTD / IBP).

Generate powerful consumer insights that drive real growth and ensure excellent consumer experience across the full funnel - from awareness to conversation & retention, along end to end consumer journeys. 

Own innovation conception and the market execution of NPD (inc. insight / concept creation / packaging design / comms & business case delivery)

Formulate a clear purpose for each of our Hair brands and bring that to life through our business, brands and programs

Work closely with Global Brand teams to deploy in the market

Lead a team of brand managers in the development and deployment of brand Communication materials (inc. Media Planning) for Local led Brands/DDM initiatives

Own the execution of the Hair in year plans to achieve our annual performance ambitions (brand P&L responsible)

Implement Hair data strategy to leverage performance marketing and inform fast, bold decision making and action

Join the UKI BPC Leadership Team responsible and lead for Hair at the UKI BPC CCBT

 

We are seeking an energetic, results-driven individual with proven leadership abilities and passion for consumers and building brands to join the BPC UK&I CCBT leadership team. They need to have demonstrated business impact in both brand equity development and data & digital marketing transformation. Candidates should also exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, strong analytical abilities with proven track record of turning insights into action, organizational skills, creativity and strong project management skills and experience; A fluency in financials is also preferred. The individual is expected to exercise judgment in coordinating and implementing various projects to completion under tight deadlines and to be able to lead projects and influence others.
