The Role / Position Overview
Support the FT's global brand and communications programme in the Asia Pacific. This role reports to the regional Brand & Communications Executive, based in Hong Kong.
Assist with the drafting of materials from media pitches to blog posts
Assist with media monitoring and social media listening
Assist with media list compilation and influencer profiling
Maintain calendar of speaking engagements in the Asia Pacific, and help identify future opportunities for key spokespeople
Assist with competitor and industry research
Corporate & Employee Communications
Assist with the coordination of internal staff events from conception to execution
Create internal communication materials, such as staff newsletters and updates
Collaborate with the design team to create visual assets
Brand & Partnerships
Support the brand partnerships programme by reviewing incoming requests and researching key opportunities
Assist with the delivery of brand partnerships and experiences, including branding, speaking opportunities, activations, logistics and marketing offers.
Maintain record of results and value delivered through brand partnerships
Required Skills / Experience
Interest in pursuing a career in brand, communications, public affairs or related area.
A strong interest in current affairs, news and digital media.
Excellent communications skills and fluency in written/spoken English.
The ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-starter with a collaborative approach to work.
