The Devices team is responsible for delivering and evolving an excellent colleague experience across all devices and the complete asset lifecycle for laptops, desktops and mobiles at ITV. 

The team is responsible for delivering tools and services that enable colleagues to be at their most creative and productive with a key focus on:

  • OS Builds

  • Asset Management

  • Device Management and Security

The Devices Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Devices 2020 and 2021 Roadmaps through formulation and analysis of business requirements, rationalising disparate data sets to draw meaning and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvements to user experience across ITV’s user groups. 

You will work closely with both the Workplace Devices Manager and Delivery Manager as well as the technical and project teams to ensure there is a common understanding and joined up thinking within the team.  

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of various initiatives within the 2020/21 roadmap across Mac, Windows, iOS, Antivirus, Print and custom development 

  • Work with the Delivery Manager to define and agree on the approach to key project activities eg. conduct background research, gather data, prepare reports, define plans, monitor progress, propose solutions, track budgets, execute testing.

  • Liaise with stakeholders (eg. ITV’s front line support teams, ITV tech divisional teams, ITV business area reps) to ensure successful execution of project activities.

  • Define and run tools to track and report on the progress of projects. 

  • Coordinate technical Project Analysts through the delivery of project

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Experience of working closely with both technical experts and business stakeholders, and of being the conduit between these disciplines

  • Experience of macOS and Windows device management tools such as Jamf Pro and SCCM / InTune beneficial.

  • Strong documentation skills eg. business requirements, process mapping, data models

  • Adept at presenting complex information simply, and in an appropriate format, to facilitate decision making

  • Able to build strong working relationships with team members and senior stakeholders

  • End-user experience focused. Understands the importance of colleague feedback and measurement to inform solution development.

  • Able to work across multiple work streams concurrently and adapt to changing business priorities. 

  • Knowledge of analyst frameworks, business processes and business requirements methodologies

  • Demonstrates proactivity and a self-motivated approach

  • Applies creative thinking to solution definition

  • Media industry experience is an advantage but not essential
