We are looking for a dynamic new Business Development and Partnerships Lead to help turbocharge the sales and development of our new startup Metavision, which looks to combine the worlds of gaming, entertainment and advertising.
Metavision is a new studio to take entertainment and commercial brands to the new worlds of the Metaverse. ‘The Metaverse’ is a term to describe virtual platforms and environments where people come together to play, socialise and engage with their favourite content. Metavision is part of ITV’s Studio 55 Ventures programme, investing in new media businesses aimed at reaching 16-34 year old audiences.
In this role, you will lead Metavision’s sales pipeline as we look to connect brands with Metaverse audiences, raising the profile of Metavision with leading brands and agencies and driving new business. You will proactively seek new business opportunities and help develop and pitch ideas to win new clients, as well as maintaining ongoing relationships with existing clients. You will be part of a small, dynamic team helping to grow a new venture within ITV, under the guidance of senior ITV leadership.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills: Minimum role criteria:
A track record of campaign sales across experiential, gaming, esports, TV
Existing brand and agency relationships
Experience working with senior brand and agency executives
Experience working with senior leaders of Blue Chip clients and ability to interact independently with leaders of that seniority at ITV and externally
An interest in and understanding of gaming, TV, entertainment and the Metaverse
An understanding of youth facing advertising/ game / experiential advertising
Project management experience
Experience in overseeing a CRM

The Key role criteria and responsibilities are as follows:
Leading Metavision's brand and agency sales strategy
Create a brand and agency sales strategy and narrative to drive understanding of the Metaverse with potential brand partners.
Building out and maintaining our external brand pipeline
Even in stealth mode, Metavision has been creating buzz with agencies and brands. Critical to this role will be building on this momentum to develop a pipeline of prospective clients. This will include bringing in briefs, raising the profile of Metavision with brands and agencies, and building long term partnerships with prospective clients.
Overseeing ongoing relationships with clients
As well as generating new business for the company, you will be responsible for managing relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Developing and presenting to clients
You will help shape and present the story we tell to our clients, working alongside Metavision’s co-founders to introduce brands and agencies to Metavision, and responding to briefs.
