An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and enthusiastic Business Intelligence Analyst, capable of using their skills and expertise to provide analytical support to enable successful delivery of national, regional and local initiatives.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Intelligence (BI) team in the South. This is a very exciting time to join this team as we are currently implementing new reporting and analysis solutions through our national data warehouse and tableau projects.

To be successful, you will have strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities to ensure the effectively use data, information and technology to improve, inform and support a range of projects, services and initiatives. You will need excellent IT skills ideally with experience of business intelligence tools such as Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Excel and Tableau.

The post holder will:
  • Work as a member of the Business Intelligence (BI) team in HEE South, providing information to effectively support all business activities undertaken by the Workforce Planning and Intelligence team.
  • Support the work of national and local HEE programmes and projects, providing effective dashboards and reports to support informed business decisions.
  • Be responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of data to support workforce planning and transformation.
  • Provide application support for Health Education England information systems, dashboards and reports for operational staff and external stakeholders.

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 5 with a full-time starting salary of £24,907, with pay step increases after 2 years' service and 4 years' service. These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.
