Summary

Facebook is seeking an experienced Business Lead to work with the VP of EMEA based in London. This person will work alongside the Regional VP's, Regional Business Leads and their EA's to amplify their impact by overseeing their rhythm of business internally and externally, engagement with various stakeholders, internal/external communications and overall coordination of key strategic initiatives for the Region.
This role is based in London and will require travel.

Required Skills

  • Serve as the liaison between the executive and other internal regional & global leaders, external stakeholders, Facebook Employee Resource Groups leads and ensure effective collaboration & prioritisation
  • Coordinate all aspects of leadership engagement with relevant partners: client visits, industry events, press and speaking engagements, travel and schedule strategy
  • Own and operate the rhythm of meetings including but not limited to: agenda, pre-reads, follow-up actions, notes, etc.
  • Collaborate with Facebook colleagues to prepare for client meetings, oversee the briefing process, and synthesize executive-level messaging for Facebook executives
  • Contribute to the annual strategic planning activities for the region working closely with various functions
  • In partnership with the Internal comms team oversee the executive's involvement in internal comms and events as needed, support message development for key internal events (for example, All Hands)
  • Help facilitate external meetings as necessary - agenda development and speaker outreach, follow-up on action items, etc.
  • Conduct primary research and work with Facebook colleagues to prepare briefings/presentations for meetings with key partners and prospects (e.g. identify goals and talking points, background on attendees, analyze the current business relationship, and summarize opportunities and challenges for Facebook to work with partner)
  • Compile and edit briefing materials for internal executive meetings and synthesize this information into executive summaries with key business and communication insights
  • Interface and consult regularly with internal cross-functional teams
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in business and technology including knowledge of current/potential Facebook clients & partners, as well as internal updates relevant to the executive's role
  • Acts as an advisor and thought partner to the executive in planning, prioritisation and stakeholder management aiming to amplify their impact
  • Exercise absolute discretion at all times


Minimum Qualification

  • Experience in a role with relevant responsibilities in a fast paced environment
  • Strong project management, organization and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven track record in effective prioritisation and multi-tasking, ability to balance between strategic and operational work effectively
  • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives in close partnership with cross functional teams and drive execution
  • Self-starter, proven ability to shift priorities quickly and act proactively, while maintaining organization and focus on the key priorities
  • Strong communication skills, proactive expectations management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, building strong functional relationships based on trust and respect
  • Ability to compile clear and concise briefing materials
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and using discretion is essential
  • Exercise poise and professionalism at all times, personal resilience and ability to remain focused in a highly demanding environment
