The Business Operations Solutions ('BOS') Programme was established to enhance processes to enable PwC to make tangible changes in the way it operates. With many of the solutions now in place or underway BOS moves into its next phase, Platform Management ('BPM'), which sees territories working in conjunction with the network to determine what is most important for the future development of the platform.

This Finance Manager role sits within the BOS Finance team, part of the Financial Operations team within the Network Operations function.
BOS Finance provides critical decision support, financial management and reporting to a diverse group of stakeholders including Network Leadership and their teams across the PwC Network.

The Finance manager will be responsible for the financial management of the special purpose vehicle, PwC Business Solutions BV ('BOS BV'), providing funding to the programme, providing business partnering support to key stakeholders and helping design a new pricing model for territories from FY23.

The successful manager will be a self starter with creativity and a strong drive to deliver high quality solutions whilst working collaboratively with the relevant stakeholders in BOS and across the wider Network Operations team. This role is highly visible and requires someone with a high degree of credibility amongst senior leadership.

Key tasks and responsibilities
  • Active involvement in the day to day activities of BOS BV, including invoice approvals, management of the P&L and balance sheet, treasury and cash flow management
  • Manage the annual statutory audit of BOS BV which includes preparation of year end audit schedules and liaison with external auditors
  • Manage BOS BV outstanding debtors
  • Maintain the multi year cash flow model which drives territory billing and loan note interest payments
  • Support the development of the cost allocation model that will drive territory charges for BOS Services from FY23 onwards
  • Provide business partnering support to workstreams to help drive the decision making process
  • Act as territory point of contact for BOS queries
  • Active involvement in the delivery of the BOS finance objectives.
  • Ad hoc tasks as deemed necessary by the Head of BOS Finance.

  • Excellent team player who is able to work in a virtual/global team
  • Resourceful and creative problem solver
  • Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
