Your Role

As the Business Security Officer you will orchestrate relationships across Intelliflo and Invesco business lines to advocate the accurate dialogue around security risk. You will enable alignment of business needs, technology objectives, and risk appetite and advise business teams on design and implementation of technology programs to maintain effective information security controls.

You will be responsible for:
  • Conducting security awareness presentations to the business
  • Providing feedback on standards which include but are not limited to global policy, business resilience, encryption, and privileged access management
  • Ensure operational requirements for Intelliflo is supported, guiding decisions, presenting risks, coordinate with GSOC for content
  • Communicating results of third-party risk assessments to ensure appropriate implementation of controls for accessing or handling confidential data
  • Negotiating security standards with third parties
  • Evaluating insider risk cases and cyber incidents
  • Ensuring documentation is crafted and updated on a periodic basis
The skills and experience you'll bring
You will:
  • Bring experience working across Security Operations, Risk Oversight, Audit
  • Be comfortable working in large/global environments involving multiple businesses
  • Have experience working with cloud enablement for business systems
  • Bring an understanding of audit/risk management methodologies and regulatory security requirements as well as technology general controls, industry standards and risk identification, assessments, response and mitigation planning.
  • Show experience in managing security projects, security incidents and investigations
  • Come from an Agile development environment and FinTech or enterprise software as a service is a plus
  • Bring knowledge that captures the interests or theoretical understanding of subjects or issues required for the role, e.g. good understanding of the investment management industry, sound knowledge of employment law, etc.
We are looking for someone who:
  • Is open minded, organised and able to collaborate and communicate with all levels
  • Can work with limited supervision and confident when translating complex/technical topics into business language
  • Is motivated and willing to learn
  • Can manage projects and has the ability to conduct sophisticated analysis and present data in a meaningful way.
  • Brings a Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Holds a CISA, CISM, CISSP or equivalent
