An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Information Services Directorate in the role of Business Support Administrator within our Business Development Team.

What you'll be doing

The successful candidate will join the Business Development Team to provide comprehensive, confidential administrative, clerical and business support, to include elements of project support within Information Services.

What we are looking for?

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate proven experience and strong skills in the following areas: -
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
  • Providing a diary management service with the ability to resolve conflicting diary appointments and schedules.
  • Manage, organise and support the planning of complex meetings, events and conferences.
  • Taking and transcribing informal and formal minutes
  • Provide an effective and efficient professional service when liaising with colleagues, partners and the public.
  • Project support skills - able to monitor progress against defined aspects of projects and business processes, identifying problems or opportunities, and take the necessary action.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
