Salary: (£31,796.12 - £38,934.73) depending on experience

The location for this post is flexible. CPP is currently reviewing its working arrangements and it is anticipated that you will be required to spend a percentage of your time working from home. Further information will be made available should you be shortlisted for interview.

As the Business Manager Support you will work closely with the Business Manager:
  • Facilitating the measurement of overall company performance against business strategies including the annual business plan and board assurance framework
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of CPP's business performance framework ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and availability of key insights on CPP's performance
  • Prepare data, reports and presentations for key meetings including CPP Members Board, Audit and Risk Committee and CPP Executive
  • Track and report key Tower processes such as delisting items, clearing invoice queries and range management
  • Minute senior management meetings and monitor and update the Tower work plan.
You will foster collaboration between the Towers by maintaining strong working relationships with key colleagues and proactively, meaningfully and consistently demonstrate our values in everyday practice, decision making and interaction with customers, stakeholders and colleagues.

Who you are:
  • Educated to degree level in a business-related subject, or equivalent experience in a related subject area, with a commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
  • Project management experience in a complex, contract driven environment: PRINCE 2 project management qualification is desirable
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and with competing deadlines, prioritising appropriately
  • Structured and pragmatic
  • Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Results focused, responding naturally to pressure and demanding deadlines
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management skills and the ability to work quickly, accurately, and confidentially
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in all Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
  • Experience or understanding of NHS Procurement, NHS Trusts and decisions making would be preferred.
  • Willing to travel frequently - to other CPP offices and NHS Trusts if required
