We are looking to recruit a suitable individual as a Car Park Patrol person at the Royal Lancaster infirmary site.

Cover is provided 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Hours of cover / shifts are between 0630hrs and 2200hrs (average 37.5hrs per week).

You will be required to patrol the hospital car parks to ensure compliance with the Trust Car Park Policy in a firm but sympathetic manner and, to act as a deterrent to theft and vandalism across the site.

You will also be expected to support arrangements in providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff which entail liaison with hospital wards and departments and, external agencies.

You will be physically fit, of smart appearance, have good verbal communication skills, a flexible manner and be able to work both as part of a team and using your own initiative.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
