We are currently looking for enthusiastic Care and Support Workers to join our kind, dedicated and caring team at our St Edmunds scheme based in the popular area of Hampton, Peterborough on a 20 hours per week basis covering mornings, evenings and alternate weekends.

The Role

As a Care and Support Worker you'll be integral to helping our customers to live independently and provide the care and support for them to do so. You'll be an empathetic individual with a natural flair in building relationships with our customers and help them integrate with others within the scheme

Your work will help to improve lives through;


  • Maximising independence of customers requiring support using person-centred approaches and always respecting individuals’ rights and choices.
  • Being a good communicator and able to provide support for a range of needs which may involve personal, practical, and emotional assistance, ensuring the person is at the heart of everything we do.
  • Maintaining accurate records of support provided, maintaining risk assessment and support plans to be able to respond to emergencies should they arise.

This role would suit both experienced or new to the profession care and support workers who are able to join our team.

You will have the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own and you will naturally go that extra mile whilst working as part of our team taking pride in all your work ensuring the highest standard of quality care and support is delivered.

To be successful you will;


  • Ideally have experience of working with elderly people.
  • Be flexible to work a variety of shift patterns during these hours including days, evenings, nights, weekend, and bank holiday work.
  • Be confident, reliable, and interested in supporting people to live independently
  • Be passionate, warm, motivated and a good team player.
  • Be happy to provide personal care to male and female customers.

If you are confident, reliable, and interested in supporting people to live independently then you will play an instrumental part of this supportive team.
