The West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust requires Evening Catering Assistants to join a dedicated Catering Team.

The Catering Department opens 365 days a year therefore we are looking for individuals who can work the following hours:

As a Catering Assistant, successful candidates will be required to work in all areas of the Catering Department. You will be required to undertake general catering and cleaning tasks within the very busy areas of the catering department.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate good customer care and communication skills, with the ability to work alone and as part of a team, whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail. The ability to remain calm under pressure is vital in this busy working environment.

A basic knowledge of hygiene principles and literacy/numeracy skills will be essential for this role.

The successful candidate will work 5-9 (evenings) over 7 days contracted for 12 or 16 hours per week
