A career in Information Security, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to develop and support our internal security technologies and services across the entire global and local PwC network. You'll focus on being the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing information technology including hardware, software, and networks that enhance security of internal information and protect our firm's intellectual assets. Our Information Security Technology and Operations function identifies technology trends and opportunities to build, integrate, and operate technologies throughout the PwC environment. The goal of this team is to lead the development and operations of global enterprise solutions, platforms and technologies that enable PwC professionals to work more efficiently and more securely while delivering the highest level of service to clients.

Preferred Fields of Study: Information Technology, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering
Certification(s) Preferred: ITIL - Change Management, CIS - IT Service Management, CIS - Service Mapping, CIS - Discovery, CIS - Event Management, CIS-Cloud, Management, CIS - Financial Management, CIS - Project Portfolio Management, CIS - Software Asset Management App., CIS - App. Portfolio Management

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in improving and managing the productivity of technology processes and business processes including the following areas:

  • Working with product leads and PMO, define framework for change management
  • Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
  • Operationalize and facilitate Change Advisory Boards for mid-large size projects
  • Work with project teams to perform risk and impact assessments for all changes as well as document those assessments
  • Collaborate with product user community leads to review change risk and impact assessments
  • Ensuring that the impact of projects is managed effectively to ensure the delivery of desired business outcomes.
  • Track actual impacts/adoption of changes
  • Support product teams in the design, delivery and acceptance of training programs and materials
  • Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates
  • Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
  • Negotiate, plan and manage release activities
  • Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
  • Managing project delivery consistent with industry leading operational disciplines such as Change Management and Quality Management to establish the availability of secure, stable and supportable services that align with the strategic direction of PwC Global IT;
  • Managing continual process improvement initiatives within the assigned PwC Global IT domain, working with Domain Leaders & Process Owners to identify opportunities. Automation opportunities may include both internal IT processes and business processes that are, or maybe enabled by technology;
  • Leading the development and maintenance of non-complex automated processes by delivering projects on time and within budget;
  • Conducting impact analysis of application or infrastructure changes that interact with automation and make associated script changes and updates;
  • Developing reporting to measure the effectiveness of automated processes;
  • Continuously applying independent judgement while collaborating with others, and influencing others within the project and domain teams;
  • Providing in the moment feedback to other staff members to support a real time development culture;
  • Building, maintaining, and leveraging relationships as well as high level verbal and written communication skills; and,
  • Adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.
