This role is focused on growing our WhatsApp Business API partner channel which serves mid and large sized clients globally via our channel partners. The Channel Partner Manager will have strong channel or sales b2b SaaS experience. This candidate should have strong deal, strategy and relationship management experience to grow and accelerate our partner GTM strategy within their specific region and partners.The position will primarily involve developing and managing sales channels through select partners, creating and implementing partner specific business plans, creatively deploying MDF/rewards, and supporting marketing initiatives that deliver sales growth.The candidate will possess superior analytical skills and have the ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management. The candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment, working cross-functionally with the marketing, global channel programs, and operations teams to develop new ways we can connect customers and business through WhatsApp business messaging.

Required Skills

  • Define and manage a bi-annual business plan with key partners for WhatsApp business messaging, encompassing but not limited to key activities to be carried out for period, clearly defined GTM planning, resource allocations, country prioritization planning, partner enablement, planned commercial incentives investments
  • Own forecasting and goaling for portfolio of partners
  • Responsible for managing pipeline information and local client relationships to identify potential new business leads, growth opportunities or future competitive trends
  • Present to and consult with management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels
  • Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, critical infrastructure problems with cross functional leaders and stakeholders
  • Along with cross functional teams, create, maintain and influence relationships with key ecosystem players in the region to help establish a narrative of WhatsApp business products
  • Achieve quarterly & annual channel sales targets

Minimum Qualification

  • Extensive experience in Channel sales with a track record of delivering against revenue or new client goals and/or quota
  • Strong history of building and driving pipeline within channel partners by evangelising and collaborating with partner sales organizations
  • Experience in building or managing partnerships and programs around messaging systems in a large-scale environment
  • Experience in cPaaS, SaaS or enterprise software environments
  • Experience working with API products
  • Experience with forecasting channel revenue accurately with strong CRM skills
  • Strong analytical skills to determine which programs work and insight to build on that experiences
  • Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership
  • Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones
  • Capacity to get things done at short notice while collecting information from a variety of internal and external source
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
