INTERVIEWS WILL TAKE PLACE THE WEEK COMMENCING 5 NOVEMBER 2020

An opportunity has arisen at the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. We're currently looking for an enthusiastic, friendly person to join the catering team as a qualified chef, minimum NVQ2 or City and Guilds equivalent.

The successful applicant will be working in a small team responsible for preparing and cooking of quality freshly prepared food for staff and visitors.

Applicants will need to have a broad range of cooking skills to enable them to provide a varied menu, they must have excellent customer care skills, have a friendly and calm disposition at all times and be able to demonstrate effective communication skills including taking charge in the absence of the manager.

The post is monthly paid with a uniform and full training provided other benefits include a generous allocation of annual leave entitlement and the opportunity to join the NHS Pension scheme.
