Job Title - Class 1 HGV Driver
Salary - £30,000 **** plus Veolia benefits *listed below
Location - Veolia, Inchyra Road, Grangemouth, FK3 9XB
Hours - Full time, 40 hours per week which may vary according to the needs of the business. Occasional weekend work will also be required.
What you’ll do
We are looking for a Class 1 Driver to join our busy team at our Grangemouth site where you will be responsible for non-hazardous Class 1 driving, transporting sewage from satellite Waste Water Treatment Works to Seafield WWTW for treatment and final processing. Other duties include:
Undertaking the necessary daily checks as per the Drivers/Operator handbook
Ensuring that each day all completed work is detailed on your daily worksheet and that they are handed in daily/weekly along with the daily vehicle check sheets, fuel receipts and Weighbridge tickets
Complying with all traffic laws and legislation with relation to your duties including the security and weight of loads
Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area
Conforming to all applicable site rules when offloading at disposal sites.
Carrying out any other duties that may be required as directed by your line manager.
The experience you will need
C+E (Class 1) licence as a minimum and previous driving experience
Vacuum tanker experience

Where you’ll work
You will be based at our Industrial Services Grangemouth, which is the largest business unit of its kind in Veolia UK. Operating with approx 100 full-time staff and a large fleet of HGV tankers and High-Pressure Water Jetting equipment we service several high profile contracts within the central Scotland area and further afield.
