Job Title - Class 2 Driver - Evening Shift
Salary - £30,747.60
Location - Alperton Central Depot, Marsh Road, Alperton Lane, Wembley, Middlesex, HA0 1ES
Hours - Full time, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 23:30.
What you’ll do
To be responsible for the collection of waste, driving an HGV vehicle within the Camden area.
To undertake the necessary daily checks as per the Drivers/Operator handbook
?To undertake the removal of waste as directed from premises?
To comply with all traffic laws and legislation with relation to your duties including the security and weight of loads
To conform to all applicable site rules when offloading at disposal sites.
To accurately complete appropriate forms and paperwork
Perform duties in an efficient and effective manner that will ensure maximum productivity.
Drivers are responsible for ensuring at the end of their shift the vehicle is tipped, washed and the cab is left clear of litter, uniform and personal effects
The experience you will need
Cat C (Class 2) licence and previous driving experience
Ability to communicate effectively within a team

Where you’ll work
You will be working within our Alperton Central Depot, in a team of around 140. The waste collection operation is in Camden.
