Job Title - Class 2 Driver Operative
Salary - £31,362, with £32.25 Single Man Bonus & £16.84 meal allowance per week Plus Veolia benefits *listed below
Location - Veolia, Edgar Mobbs Way, Northampton, NN5 5JE
Hours - Full time, 48 hours per week, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays on a 10-week rota pattern.
What you’ll do
We are looking for a Class 2 driver to undertake the duties of a Refuse & Recycling driver/loader. Working with a team delivering a high standard service to the residents of the Northampton area. Other duties will include:
Ensuring the health and safety of all members of the public, visitors, staff and contractors at the site.
Ensuring that materials on site are recycled as much as possible.
Assisting the public, providing information, guidance and help to carry their waste and recycling when required and if safe to do so.
Attending any training deemed necessary for the role.
The experience you will need
Cat C (Class 2) licence
Ability to communicate effectively within a team and with the general public
Work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and customer orientated
Experience as a Recycling Operative would be a strong advantage

We have a new purpose-built waste transfer station based at Edgar Mobbs way in Northampton. We have on-site parking, fuel tank and vehicle wash. This is due to Veolia’s fantastic growth and it's an exciting time to join the team.
