We run three busy hospital sites at Peterborough, Huntingdon and Stamford and provide outpatient services in two community hospitals in Ely and Doddington. Our 6,000 staff serve a growing population of 750,000 across North Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual ready to join a busy IT Department as the Client and Endpoint Manager, you will lead and manage the Client and Endpoint team to ensure that plans, funding and other resources are available to provide sufficient performance and capacity for the Trust's Client & Endpoint Infrastructure

The right candidate needs to be able to work under pressure while managing a varied and exciting workload that will deliver on existing roadmaps and have a direct input into future strategies, the main duties of the role will include:
  • Lead and manage the provision and development of the Client & Endpoint infrastructure across all Trust sites
  • Ensure that plans, funding and other resources are available to provide sufficient performance and capacity for the Trust's Client & Endpoint Infrastructure
  • Line-Manage the Client & Endpoint Team
  • Provide and manage a systems administration service for the Trust's IM&T Client & Endpoint infrastructure
  • Provide and manage a "Technical Lead" service for the I.T. Project Managers
  • Manage changes to the Client & Endpoint infrastructure through projects and operational change requests
  • Manage third party Client & Endpoint infrastructure suppliers to meet service level agreements
  • Provide specialist support resource to the other I.T. Operations teams to assist colleagues and third line support staff when necessary
  • Design, develop and implement policies & procedures in own team, and Trust-wide when related to ICT technical issues
