At Kantar Worldpanel, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Insights Executive/Manager to handle and develop a portfolio of clients. The role includes plenty of opportunity to develop further, including taking on responsibility for line management.

In this Client Manager position, you will play a key part in developing close client relationships with an exciting portfolio of clients, ranging from small development accounts, to vital key accounts. You will have full responsibility for driving and growing the day-to-day relationship with your client portfolio by understanding their business, key aims and challenges. You will also challenge client requests to ensure we are delivering insightful output consistently. You'll co-ordinate the team's workload while motivating and helping staff to develop and you'll be contributing to team revenue performance by identifying further opportunities within client portfolio and producing relevant proposals and converting into revenue stream. You will have the opportunity to work as part of the new business team and be involved with the Kantar PR team, providing the opportunity to build profile and currency within the FMCG industry.

To help achieve this we'll develop and train you to use our tools and solutions to analyse data, develop insight and build presentations that communicate your point of view and recommendations.

Of course you won't be doing this on your own. You'll have all the support, and development opportunities you'll need. You'll also have to get to know your team and colleagues across our business, collaborating to deliver this fantastic work.

Person specification
  • Well organised with an innate ability to manage and plan effectively the workload for a small team.
  • Excellent client servicing skills with the ability to build relationships and act assertively and challenge when necessary.
  • Engaging communication and presentation style, capable of delivering concise coherent stories with clear client implications and recommendations.
  • Interest in data and numbers
  • Desire to share ideas with colleagues and contribute to the overall team objectives.
  • Fascination for consumers, how they behave and the choices they make combined with commercial acumen and the willingness to meet sales targets.
  • Passion and drive to support our strong business growth by spotting opportunities with your clients and meeting sales targets.
  • You'll have outstanding commercial exposure - our senior team have delivered their points of view to some of the biggest brand names out there, as well as contributing to and speaking at key industry events!
