We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward thinking individual to join the division of Adult Community Services for a period of 6 months on a secondment basis.

The division provides community services comprising Adult Community Nursing, MY Therapies, Integrated Care Team, an Intermediate Care bedded unit and Urgent Response Team of Advanced Clinical Practitioners to patients registered with a Wakefield GP across a wide geographical footprint.

The division has a clear focus on improving the learning culture; you would be joining us at a time when you could play a pivotal part in our improvement journey.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the division as interim Clinical Governance Manager to support us on our journey of improving our CQC rating within the division from Good to Outstanding. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about patient safety, managing risk and developing robust systems to embed learning from incidents and embedding best practice.

You will be part of a small, friendly and supportive Senior Management Team whom are committed to continuous improvement and embracing innovation. The role will involve providing support and guidance to staff and managers in all aspects of quality, patient safety and governance and ensuring commitment to managing risk in a coordinated and systematic way, contributing to delivering the Divisional and Trust wide governance agenda.

The successful candidate will be a positive influencer with a strong commitment to team work, shared learning and high performance; the role involves contributing to and leading on the preparation of formal reports on all aspects of quality and safety and governance, proficient in analysing and presenting complex and sensitive data.
