About the Role

The role of Commissioning Delivery Manager for Primary Care provides an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to lead the operational delivery of the primary care key objectives for County Durham CCG.

This role offers the opportunity to develop experience in working in Primary Care transformation supporting the further maturation of the 13 primary care networks. This role will be instrumental in the delivery of the County Durham CCG primary care strategy priorities and the key elements of the NHS Long Term Plan.

About you

The right candidate will be qualified to Masters level, or equivalent, and will be experienced in leading transformational change within an NHS setting. You will have the ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working relationships and networks with Primary Care, GPs, secondary care clinicians and corporate colleagues. In addition to this you should be able to challenge and negotiate effectively with various stakeholders and be able to prioritize work to meet agreed key performance targets.

Based at Sedgefield Community Hospital within an integrated CCG/Commissioning Support team, you will work across County Durham and Darlington
