Facebook is looking for an experienced Communications Manager to support our communications activities in Paris, France . The team's mission is to communicate about our company and products, and to engage press and other external stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have deep understanding and knowledge of the French media landscape, ideally with experience across corporate, consumer and B2B communications. They will be highly skilled in digital communications, including e-reputation management, social media management and content creation. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Facebook, has knowledge of the digital industry, is an excellent writer, and has strong experience in developing and executing high-profile communications initiatives. To find success in this position, the ideal candidate needs to be creative, strategic, be able to thrive in a high demanding environment and work on a number of projects simultaneously.This full time position is based in Paris, France and will report to the Corporate Communications Manager for France. Communications Associate Manager, France Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies and own day-to-day execution for press relations programs

  • Organize press briefings, media sessions and events and manage interviews

  • Develop a wide range of communications materials including blog posts, press plans, reactive statements and media briefing materials

  • Strengthen existing and cultivate new relationships with print and online media, broadcast producers, bloggers and influencers

  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (product, platform, monetization) on individual media opportunities and broader programs

  • Educate press, bloggers and influencers about core Facebook products and initiatives

  • Use data analytics to inform media strategies

  • Scale Facebook's communications across corporate social channels

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience in press relations, communications or journalism

  • Strong existing relationships and contacts with French media

  • Ability to manage a broad range of both proactive and reactive projects and to consistently deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong project management and decision-making skills with a demonstrated ability to plan and execute successful campaigns with multiple teams/stakeholders

  • Deep understanding and passion for Facebook and technology

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English and French

Preferred Qualifications

  • +5 years of experience in press relations

  • Corporate or Agency experience

  • Experience in the tech industry

  • Experience in social media management

  • Experience in managing PR agencies and contractors
