Can you create and tell compelling stories about science, health and research?
Can you write blogs, shoot videos or take photographs that tell stories about science, health and research? We have an opportunity to support how we communicate about and with the science and health research community. This is an entry-level position in our Communications Division on an 18-month fixed term contract.
We're looking for someone to join our Communications Division focusing on enhancing our brand and reputation with the science and health research community.
The Communications Executive (Research) will be responsible for communications activities to support the priorities of our funding divisions, maintaining our research newsletter, producing content to showcase the wide variety of research we fund and assisting at community events.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy team known for producing engaging content and to gain an in-depth knowledge of campaign planning for a targeted audience.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
Strong writing skills and good levels of numeracy;
Experience carrying out communications activities on different channels, including email newsletters, blogs and social media;
Ability to manage multiple projects working with colleagues and external stakeholders;
Creativity, imagination and initiative.
