About the role:

The Compliance Analyst will work to support the development and implementation of compliance related policies and procedures across all stages of the procurement lifecycle and where relevant the wider HS2 operations. The role will provide support to Compliance Managers and Senior Compliance Manager. Working with the wider Policy and Process team and key procurement and commercial stakeholders to assist them in carrying out their duties effectively and in compliance with related policies.

The main accountabilities are to:

  • Support the delivery of compliance reviews including recommendations for improvement, escalation as appropriate; to ensure compliance with Procure to Pay Control Framework;
  • Support a "critical friend" approach to ensure production of consistent documentation across all procurements, which follow the relevant policies and procedures. In turn ensuring a smooth transition through the HS2 governance & assurance models;
  • Act as a point of contact for the reporting, registering and monitoring of potential/actual conflicts of interest and gifts & hospitality;
  • Support the implementation HS2's Conflicts of Interest related procedures to ensure staff and suppliers are aware and compliant with related policy and procedures;
  • To produce written reports to support Senior Compliance Manager and Compliance Managers as required;
  • Develop and deliver staff training and presentations covering compliance related activities;
  • Support the delivery of change initiatives from identification through to implementation and embedding;
  • Provide support to the wider Policy and Process team, including general administration, management of mailbox, records and databases.
  • Actively promoting and embedding Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work. Supporting and complying with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI


Qualifications:

About You:
  • Experience of working within a procurement, contract management or commercial structure
  • Experience of systems and reporting applications
  • Experience of gathering and analysing information from multiple sources
  • Analytical skills with the ability to gather and review information
  • Ability to produce and present documents, reports and presentations as needed for a variety of audiences and stakeholders
  • Stakeholder management skills with the ability to maintain positive and constructive relationships across the organisation and with key supplier contacts.
