The Trust Safety & Quality Support Department are seeking a Compliance Coordinator. You will support the Compliance Manager in the delivery of the strategy, processes and assurance systems across the Trust, with an aspiration to support the Trust in securing an outstanding CQC rating across our core services by:

Improving patient journeys - The role will involve engaging with experts in their fields to help to continually refresh knowledge of guidance and regulation, and maintain the Trust's reputation for excellence by using the CQC framework.

Working with Communities: Share experiences of learning or challenges internally and externally, and support tangible solutions to problems.

Strengthen the organisation: Providing resource(s) to enhance knowledge to enable colleagues to meet the latest regulatory requirements, and encourage sharing of best practice or ideas.

This exciting opportunity at this stage of the Trust's journey would be suited to candidates with a background in compliance, quality improvement, effectiveness or governance.

You may also be expected to lead on specific small projects and work proactively under your own initiative which may be in response to feedback from regulatory inspection, or external peer review. Therefore this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skill set with the support of the Safety & Quality Department.

You will need to be a highly motivated team player with a friendly and approachable manner who possesses excellent communication, attention to detail and negotiation skills to assist and support in driving forward quality improvement and maintained compliance across the Trust.
