Job description

The Operations Quality and Compliance team are looking for a Manager, or Senior Manager, to play a key role in developing a positive and modern approach to compliance and audit activities.

The role will require a forward thinker and planner; someone proactive who uses their own initiative to develop and implement process change across UKIT. You will also be expected to present and discuss information in a logical, professional and objective manner to various leadership committees and groups.

What will you be doing:

  • Strengthening the current compliance framework by using automation and reporting for the purpose of verifying compliance
  • Providing independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness and quality of processes and controls
  • Developing new Governance and Organisation Structures to support Cloud and our Digital Business
  • Developing new ways of working to ensure compliance is built into Agile delivery
  • Supplier Risk management
  • Managing Audit schedule and any IAF
  • Building strong relationships across UKIT and Global IT, to improve awareness of compliance and drive improvements

What are we looking for:

  • Experience in managing technology standards (ISO, ITIL, etc), risk management and audit frameworks
  • Ability to interpret compliance and risk requirements and translate them into practical operational processes
  • Experience interpreting and analysing data, identifying gaps and improvements
  • Creating reports to support digital storytelling
  • Project and change management experience
  • Fresh ideas to help lead our strategy, culture and principles on IT compliance

Skills Profiles:

  • Technology standards & frameworks: ITIL V3/4, COBIT, ISO27001
  • Other relevant industry certification such as CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM
  • Management Techniques: Six Sigma, Lean, Agile
  • Digital Workflow Tools: ServiceNow, Jira, BMC
  • Data Analysis: PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, Databases, SnapLogic, Alteryx
